Our Wines
Our San Diego winery and vineyard is located in the small unincorporated community of Deerhorn Valley. We'll always offer the varietals we grow in our own vineyard (Cab Sauvignon, Cab Franc, and beginning with this year's harvest, Zinfandel and Sangiovese), but in addition we go around to other local vineyards to select other varietals to supplement our production. In 2006 and again in 2007 we harvested Zinfandel and Syrah grapes from a vineyard in Campo, and made very nice blends from that. In 2008 we found some beautiful Syrah grapes from a vineyard in nearby Dulzura. Who knows what surprise we'll find this year!
INTRODUCING OUR NEW DRY ROSÉ!
We've produced a delicious Dry Rosé by blending our cabernet sauvignon and syrah with a white we obtained from another vineyard. We offered it for the first time at a recent charity event and very quickly ran out of the samples. Now we've blended it in sufficient quantities to offer it for sale to you. It's not available in any store, only from our web site and from our soon-to-open tasting room.
NEW VINTAGE IS READY! Our 2009 vintages of the Cabernet Franc and Cab Franc/Cab Sauvignon blend are ready and available for purchase. We're particularly pleased with the Cabernet Franc, which is very similar to the impressive 2008 vintage. We have very limited quantities, having produced only 25 cases of it, so try it soon and then stock up!

You can also find our wines for sale in
several local retail locations, including the Albertsons in downtown San Diego (14th and Market), Alpine, and Rancho San Diego; at the Windmill Farms in the College area; and at Lyons Valley Trading Post and Jamul Liquor.
If you want to have our wines available at your closest Albertsons, ask
the liquor department manager next time you're shopping there (you're
sure to get quicker results then if we simply call to solicit the
liquor manager at your location). They can get a store-to-store
transfer from The Alpine Albertsons. Here's our current selection:

2009 Cabernet Franc
Carol's favorite, our new vintage Cab Franc is our best product yet. Great nose, balance, and finish. Jammy fruit, slightly spicy. An estate wine entirely from grapes we grew ourselves. Available everywhere we sell our wines, only 25 cases were produced.
